John sees what happens as the sealed book is being opened, cont'd...
The third seal possibly being opened today...
Rev. 6:5-6 tells us when the third seal was opened the third beast said come and see. Then John saw a black horse whose rider had a pair of balances in his hand. Then John heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, "A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see that thou hurt not the oil and the wine." We know black means death and popular preachers today believe this horseman stands for famine and shortage of food. I too believe this is the basic meaning. The difference is I believe of course the church is still here during this shortage. I also believe it has a deeper meaning that we are seeing come to pass today. I believe it stands for a comparatively new political ideology being formed in modern times. God's Holy Spirit has been giving me glimpses of this prophecy's revelation for some time now, but just recently put the peices into place after this last election.
The balances of course are scales rationing food for money. In this scripture the greek word translated to "measure" litterally meant an amount of food to satisfy one man's appetite for one day and the Greek word translated to "penny" was a Roman coin that appears to stand for a full day's wages in the parable that Jesus told in Matthew 20:2-13. So this could be interpreted that enough barley to feed three people for one day will cost a days wages as will enough wheat to feed only one man for one day. It seems though that these prices are set and these amounts of food are rationed out by the rider of the black horse not by a free market system and it seems as though it is the same for everyone as it is a set cost. Meaning everyone's day's wages and cost of a day's food will all be the same.
Then "see that thou hurt not the oil and the wine" could mean that the purpose of rationing was so that the amounts of oil and wine available are not disturbed. In other words the rider is rationing food to protect the supply of oil and wine. In biblical days oil literally meant olive oil (which was also used as fuel for oil lamps) and spiritually meant the Holy Spirit. Wine was litterally wine (fermented grapes or alchohol) and spiritually means the Blood of Jesus for the remission of sin. But what could these two items refer to in end times? Could oil litterally mean crude oil today, standing for the energy which is needed in today's society for industry, prosperity and wealth? And could the wine stand for ethanol that we are producing from food that was previously used to help feed a hungry world? The production of ethanol has helped to cause the rising shortage of food around the world that we have seen in recent months. Thus "hurt not the oil and the wine could simply mean that when this seal is opened the rider of the black horse will make every effort to preserve the world's industry, prosperity and economy even at the expense of our food supply.
As stated many times throughout
this website Yeshua is a form of the transliterated pronunciation for Jesus' Hebrew Name and YHWH (from Hebrew letters Yod, Hey, Waw, Hey) is a transliterated form of the Hebrew pronunciation for THE LORD'S name. I will refer to these throughout this website so there is no doubt who I am speaking of. However for ease of recognition and understanding will also occasionally use the English forms found in the English KJVof the bible which of course are THE LORD and His Son Jesus.
